A very healthy 20 minute meal with mostly store cupboard items. Using Laila's brown rice, canned tuna and few other ingredients.

  • 350gm par-boiled Laila Brown Rice
  • 1 can (185gm) tuna
  • 10 mushrooms
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger


  • Fry garlic in oil for a few minutes.
  • Slice and add mushrooms, soy sauce and ground ginger.
  • Stir in rice and cover the pan, continue to stir to avoid burning rice until rice is cooked.
  • Stir in a can of tuna and let it sit for 2-3 minutes before serving
